Crymod crysis 2 mods3/30/2024 ![]() ![]() The only major mod that still has a solid following is MW:LL, but most of the steam from that was lost with the new official MW announcement earlier this month. Part of that is the communities fault, but a large problem was that it took CryTek so damned long to release the Warhead SDK, and now everyone is waiting on Crysis2 and the CE3 tools. Other than that, most of the other mods are the usual "WiPs" that have been stalled at the usual ~80% for over a year now. The big mod that everyone was using previously was the Advanced AI package, but it became irrelevant since most of the changes it made were rolled into Warhead. The only current way around it is to "charattach" a body entity to something else in SB2, like a rope, and then use the rope to manipulate it. Now you need a Custom Config, and a ToD mod (Time of day) The config will take you beyond enthusiast settings and the ToD mod will Enhance the Lighting of Crysis to something much more realistic, you will be shocked at how much of a difference it makes. There were some mods that re-enabled it, but they were promptly "patched" and are rather difficult to find now. IIRC they're actually bound by some law (German, I think) to have the dead bodies remain inert. ![]() ![]() While I completely agree, since the physics system is awesome to play around with, you can't blame Crytek. Those bodies laying around in inert, awkward positions just make me cringe. But if you find one that implements ragdoll physics to dead bodies, please let me know. ![]()
